Armando Broja’s contract has an odd condition that could result in Fulham paying virtually nothing for the striker.
The 22-year-old has committed to the Cottagers on a season-long loan from Chelsea.

Earlier in the window, there was uncertainty around Broja’s Deadline Day move as the Blues were allegedly asking a £5 million loan fee.
Before the negotiations took an unexpected turn, neither Fulham nor Wolves agreed to meet the asking price.
Chelsea made an odd agreement with their West London rivals, lowering their demands in an attempt to get rid of him this month.
Broja will cost Fulham nearly nothing if he plays a set number of minutes and makes ten starts.
But the team will have to pay a maximum fee of £4 million if he does not play in enough games.
His arrival is much needed for Marco Silva’s team, who had only managed one goal in their previous four games.
In addition, attacker Raul Jimenez hobbled off during Tuesday’s 0-0 draw with Everton due to an injury.
Fulham has 16 games left in the season after losing in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup.
Broja commented after joining the team, “It feels amazing.”
“I’m thrilled to be here and am eager to play for the fans, get started, and get to know the players and manager.
“Fans are always important, and I can’t wait to see them all at Craven Cottage.”
“I’m going to put in a lot of effort on the team and establish genuine bonds. I feel incredibly honored and happy to be here.
This season, Broja has two goals in 19 games for Chelsea.
