TREAT YOUR PARTNER WELL

I was sitting in the midst of men listening to their discussions when the wife of one of the men came to join us.

As she was coming to join us, her husband stood up for her to sit down as there was no other available seat.

Where I was seated, I was like wow what a husband. I took a glance at the wife and the way she was feeling no be here. You need to see the feeling of pride that was all over her.

My respect for that man increased that day. He didn’t mind what the men that were sitting down with him will say, he just went ahead and gave up his seat for his wife, Whenever and wherever I see that man, I used to greet him very well.

The same thing cannot be said of many men today. The way many men treate their wives, you will begin to wonder if those women are actually their wives or maid. They talk to them anyhow without any iota of respect. Some even beat their wives self.

The same thing with many women. The way they treate their husbands will make you to pity them, especially when they are the one catering for the family. They have no single regard for their husbands.

The way you treate your partner matters a lot because I don’t think people will treat your partner more than you treat them, especially in the compound. The way you treate your partner will either be directly or partially proportional to how people will treat them.

If you are the type of husband that use to beat your wife in the compound, I tell you, people in the compound will have little or no respect for your wife. It’s the hand you gave to them they’re using to follow her.

If you are the type of wife that insults and disregard your husband, I tell you, you’ve made that man a caricature in the compound and in the neighborhood. How do you want people to treat your partner well when you yourself don’t do that? It isn’t gonna work!

When you don’t play with your wife or husband, I tell you people are likely not to play with her or him. Take the man in the story for
