THIAGO SILVA responded to criticism posted on social media by a Chelsea supporter amid demands for his dismissal following the Blues’ loss to Nottingham Forest.
Steve Cooper’s team defeated Mauricio Pochettino’s team 1-0 on Saturday at Stamford Bridge.

His team now has just four points from their first four Premier League contests.
This is true even though they spent more on transfers during Todd Boehly’s tenure, which lasted just over a year.
And their fans are growing impatient with squad players like Silva, 38, who has been so dependable for them in recent seasons.
This won’t sit well with Chelsea fans, but I believe it’s time to let Thiago Silva go.
We have to play a back 5 to cram him in, so playing him is becoming a problem.
“I don’t think we’ll suffer much at the back and playing four at the back will help us to be better going forward.
“Thiago has my respect, but I believe we’d be better off without him right now.”
Silva, who has appeared in 121 games for Chelsea and has won the Champions League twice with the team, was pleased to respond to the criticism.
He responded, “My friend, if you look closely at the game, we are using a line of four players!
“However, there’s no issue with presuming that I’m also to blame for the loss.
Put pressure on me; I had no issues the day before.
Other Chelsea supporters also appeared to disagree with the first claim, insisting Silva must stay with the team.
You’ve got to be kidding, he’s by far our best player, someone said. He is functioning at his best age of 38, shortly to be 39. What he is doing at that age is extraordinary.
It’s absurd how talented he is. It’s special. Even great players like Messi and Ronaldo don’t do that. Take a look at the leagues they play in; one has 38 players and the other 36. Silva is now playing in the top league in the globe.
“Even at his age, he is crucial to us developing our young team. No player is better than another for instruction. He will greatly advance players like Colwill.
One more person said, “Are you kidding me? If anyone needs to go, it should be Disasi; Thiago and Colwill should be at the rear.
Why not start Disasi instead of Chalobah? Please refrain from using his name, Thiago.
One person said, “You must be nuts actually; just because he got nutmegged doesn’t imply it was his fault why we lost the game,” and another said, “I agree.
“Thiago is a reliable veteran and a captain on the field. one of the first names included on the team sheet!”
Prior to hosting Aston Villa, Chelsea plays away against Bournemouth in their first match following the break.
