Take advantage of the digital and Technology world to upgrade yourself for a better future – Education Director urges
The Dormaa Central Municipal Director of Education, Rev. Fr. Kingsley Dwamena Asante, has tasked students and other officers who have little or no knowledge of Information Technology (IT) to embrace Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics and the Internet in enhancing their knowledge on digitalization to adjust to the norms of the world.
He emphasized that digitalization plays a major role in the current educational reforms, hence the need for students, Headteachers and other staff who have no or little knowledge of Information Communication Technology (ICT) to adopt the technological and digital education to upgrade themselves, stressing that ICT is vital and key in fastracking development and without fundamental knowledge in IT, one will find it difficult to ascertain job after school completion
He admonished teachers and the entire Ghanaians to be patriotic and punctual towards work stressing that teachers must stay disciplined and desist from lateness to ensure effective work output for the growth of the country.
He made this known during the Graduation ceremony and commissioning of ICT Lab at Mindfield School of Excellence situated at Dormaa Ahenkro in the Bono Region.
Rev. Fr. Kingsley Dwamena Asante attributed the high state of examination malpractices in our school to some parental control in our homes that breeds corruption emphasizing that teachers and parents play significant roles in the rise in malpractices in our school which is not tackled will engender our society with poor and inefficient professionals and graduates.
He therefore appealed to parents, guardians and teachers to ensure discipline among their children and offer them the best training for a brighter future.
