The Deputy Director-General of GES in charge of Management Services, Mr Stephen Owusu participated in the maiden Speech and Prize Giving Day of Serwaa Kesse Girls’ SHS on Saturday 13th May, 2023.
The celebration was under the theme, “Educating the Girl Child in the 21st Century; the Role of Stakeholders.” Awards were given to some students and past and current teachers of the school for their outstanding performance.
Also in attendance were Nana Serwaa Nyarko, Queen mother of Duayaw Nkwanta Traditional Council; Nana Yaw Basoa, Member, Council of State; Hon. Justina Owusu Banahene, Bono Regional Minister; Director for Pre-Tertiary, MoE, Nana Baffour-Awuah; Regional Director of Education, Lucy Ama Ankrah; and the MCE for Tano North Municipality, Hon. Ernest Kwarteng, among others.
