Residents of Amoma and the entire Kintampo South constituency have expressed their deep concern over the current state of the Amoma to Agina Road. According to reports, the road has become a death trap, claiming the lives of innocent people. It is sad to note that the government has turned a blind eye to this situation, despite the numerous appeals made by the residents.
The current Member of Parliament for Kintampo South, Alexander Gyan, and the Vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, promised to fix the road during their campaign period, but have failed to live up to their promises. The government even went as far as awarding the road construction contract to an unknown contractor, who abandoned the project immediately after the elections.
It is, therefore, time for the people of Kintampo South to take action. The government has shown no interest in addressing this issue, and it is time for a change. We need leaders who are willing to listen to the concerns of the people and take action.
The only solution to this problem is to vote out the current government and elect leaders who will prioritize the development of our communities. We need leaders who will ensure that our roads are fixed, our schools are well-equipped, and our healthcare system is improved.
The people of Kintampo South must come together and work towards a common goal, which is to elect leaders who will bring development to our communities. Let us unite and vote for a better future for ourselves and for generations to come.
