In an auspicious ceremony held on the 2nd of October, 2023, Prof. Stephen Jobson Mitchual officially took office as the Vice-Chancellor of the esteemed University of Education, Winneba (UEW). With a strong commitment to building on past achievements and leading the university towards excellence and growth, Prof. Mitchual brings a wealth of experience and a clear vision to his new role.
A distinguished scholar, Prof. Mitchual possesses a Ph.D. in Wood Science and Technology from the renowned Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Prior to his appointment as Vice-Chancellor of UEW, he served as the Ag. Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) in Kumasi. During his time at AAMUSTED, Prof. Mitchual successfully oversaw the School of Graduate Studies, leaving a mark of excellence and innovation.
