Erling Haaland will not play for Manchester City this weekend against Newcastle due to a foot ailment, according to PEP GUARDIOLA.
Due to the problem, the 23-year-old Norwegian has been out of commission for a month.

Additionally, he will not participate in Saturday night’s match between the champions and Eddie Howe’s team at St. James’ Park.
“Jack [Grealish] has been sick and hopefully today he is back,” Guardiola responded when asked about the team’s absences at his pre-game news conference.
“Erling is out and John [Stones] is out.”
Without Haaland for the sixth straight Premier League game, Man City will be getting ready to play with Julian Alvarez at the center of the line.
Nevertheless, the former Dortmund player is still tied for the league lead in scoring with Mo Salah despite missing a significant amount of time.
In 15 Premier League games, he has scored 14 goals; in 22 games throughout all competitions, he has scored 19.
However, playmaker Kevin de Bruyne is expected to start for Man City against Newcastle, even if Haaland will be out.
The 32-year-old Belgian made his FA Cup comeback on Sunday in a 5-0 victory over Huddersfield, following a five-month absence due to a hamstring injury.

And just 17 minutes after coming off the bench, he helped Jeremy Doku.
Guardiola continued, “Kevin De Bruyne is ready to start and I can see he is very good. The trip to Abu Dhabi [next week] will do him good too.” He was speaking about his condition before the weekend.
“He seemed healthy and energetic when I saw him yesterday.
He performed admirably, surpassing the Huddersfield practises in his playing. He is improving.”
