TOPIC: Overcoming Helplessness.
TEXT: “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13 (ESV)
MEMORY VERSE: “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” – Deuteronomy 31:6 (ESV)
Feeling helpless can be a frustrating and overwhelming experience, but as Christians, we can find strength and courage in God. In Philippians 4:13, we are reminded that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. We must turn to God and trust in His power and love to overcome our feelings of helplessness.
In Deuteronomy 31:6, we are told to be strong and courageous and to not fear or be in dread of our circumstances, for God goes with us and will never leave or forsake us. We can trust in God’s unfailing love and power to give us the strength and courage we need to overcome our helplessness.
Let us pray: Dear God, I come to You today feeling helpless and overwhelmed. I ask for Your strength and courage to face the challenges before me. Help me to trust in Your power and love, and to know that You will never leave or forsake me. Thank You for Your unfailing love and grace. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
