This was made necessary after Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh, the incumbent Member of Parliament, was selected as the running mate for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
Four people have been cleared to contest for the position.
In the order of balloting, the four persons include Nana Afriyie Owusu Prempeh, who picked number one, followed by Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah.
Number three on the ballot is Akwasi Coker Gyambibi, and the fourth person is James Owusu Boakye.
They were all cleared after answering questions asked by a five-member committee.
