The NPP constituency Chairman in the Offinso North constituency of the Ashanti Region Mr. Mogma Johnson has disclosed that Offinso North district is a solid ground for the Vice President Dr. Alhaji Mahamud Bawumia as far as the party’s presidential primaries is concern.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on CAN radio Morning Show Dubbed CAN Agenda Chaired by Blockman, the party Chairman indicated that NPP branch of Offinso North vote on agreement and consensus build by party executives which is also channeled to all those who matters in an election processes to ensure that good and competent leader is chosen to steer the affairs of the party for a successful future.
He added that the Offinso North branch of the party after series of deliberations established to vote for Dr Bawumia to lead the party in the upcoming general elections explaining that although all the 10 presidential aspirants fit for the flagbearer position but Bawumia is the choice who can execute more task in ensuring success for Ghana and the party when given the mandate to serve as president disclosing that most of the party supporters in the various communities within Offinso North and it’s environs are yelling for Bawumia and have threatened doom for the party should delegates fail to make him their flagbearer hence the onus lies on delegates to make the right choice for the growth of the party in the subsequent days.

Chairman Mogma revealed that the vice president as part of his campaign tour in the Ashanti region will Visit Offinso North on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Afrancho R/C school from 8am to meet the delegates and the party executives for a discussion on his flagbearer ambition and other matters.
Finally, Chairman Mogma Johnson justified why Bawumia must be given the flagbearership position among the other contestants explaining that he is respectful leader and has the in-depth knowledge in governance and leadership hence his massive contribution as Vice president towards Akuffo-Addo led administration.
