NDC flagbearer must nominate a female running mate to strengthen women involvement in governance – Constituency Women organizer

The NDC Constituency women Organizer in the Afigya Kwabre North constituency in the Ashanti Region, Hon Juliana Afriyie has encouraged whoever wins the NDC presidential primaries to choose a Female as the running mate, decision she said will strengthen female participation in Governance.

Hon. Juliana Afriyie speaking in an interview with newsmen in a sensitization and organizational conference organized for the party’s polling station women organizers in the Afigya Kwabre North constituency, she noted that the country is in reversal path as a result of poor governance by the NPP government hence the need to engage the women organizers to encourage them work harder to ensure victory for NDC and Ghana at large in the upcoming general elections.

She stressed that the hardship in the country is overwhelmed which is highly affecting women in the country and so NDC is the political party that can work out things to ensure a significant positive impacts on the citizenry.

She urged all women within the country to work extra hard to ensure the propagating of good news about the NDC to help them win power in the upcoming general elections to ameliorate the hardship in the country.

The Constituency women organizer for Afighya Sekyere East constituency Hon. Theresah Baafi who graced the conference added that it is about time the women wing within the NDC party preach the gospel about their party to the general public to secure victory for them to help them eradicate the hardship in the country created by the NPP.

She said NPP do claim they have the men but they are men who cannot steer the affairs of governance, leading the country into ditch reiterating that the NDC also have women who can stand up firmly to campaign for the party to win power to exterminate the hardship caused in the country.

Finally, Hon Esther Antwi, Abourso constituency Women organizer charged her fellow women and men within the NDC party to ensure peace and unity among themselves going into their pending presidential and parliamentary primaries.
