Self-proclaimed pastor Patricia Asiedua, widely known as Nana Agradaa, appeared in court on Thursday, July 18, facing charges related to the possession and distribution of indecent materials. The court granted her bail amounting to GH¢200,000, with the stipulation of providing two justified sureties.
The charges stem from allegations that Nana Agradaa displayed explicit images of a prophet on her television station, Thunder TV, which has since been rebranded as Today’s TV, in 2021. Reports indicate that she also made derogatory remarks about these images during the broadcast.
In addition to the display of explicit content, Agradaa is accused of distributing these images by incorporating them onto labels for a beverage product (bitters) intended for sale.
