The Ministry of Finance has instructed the Nation Builders Corps (NABCo) trainees to submit their petitions for outstanding payments through the Office of the President.

The Ministry explained that the programme, which employed numerous young Ghanaians but was prematurely terminated, was managed under the Office of the Presidency.

As a result, any pending payments require validation from the Office of the President before the Finance Ministry can authorize disbursements. Currently, the government still owes NABCo beneficiaries a nine-month allowance, several years after the programme ended.
