Ajax Amsterdam’s midfielder, Mohammed Kudus, has recovered from a muscle injury that caused him to miss three games.
The Ghanaian international sustained the injury during their 2-1 victory over Feyenoord in the semi-final of the Dutch Cup earlier this month.
Ajax is set to face PSV Eindhoven in the final of the competition on Sunday, April 30, after suffering a 3-0 loss to the same opponents last weekend.
The return of Kudus is a welcome boost for the team as they seek to win the Dutch Cup since their Eredivisie title hopes seem to have dwindled.
Kudus played a pivotal role for Ghana during the 2022 World Cup, scoring two goals in three games. His impressive performance has garnered interest from top European clubs, including Manchester United, who is coached by his former coach Erik Ten Hag.
The talented midfielder has recorded 18 goals and five assists in 38 games across all competitions for both club and country.
