The 23-year-old Ghanaian international, who enjoyed a standout season with the Hammers last year, is eager to build on his success. Kudus, who transferred from Ajax Amsterdam to West Ham in the previous summer, aims to not only secure a spot in European tournaments but also to challenge for a top-six finish in the Premier League.

Stellar Performances and Achievements from Last Season

During the 2023/24 season, Kudus made a significant impact, scoring 18 goals and providing seven assists in 48 appearances across all competitions. His performances earned him notable accolades, including being recognized as Europe’s top dribbler and winning West Ham’s Goal of the Season award for his spectacular 70-yard solo effort against SC Freiburg.

Kudus’ Ambition for the Upcoming Season

Looking ahead, Kudus is focused on surpassing his previous achievements. In an interview with the club’s website, he expressed his determination:

“Personally, I want to do better than I did last season with numbers and performances,” Kudus said. “But most importantly, I want to help the team get back into Europe and challenge for the top six. That’s my main goal — to help the team achieve those objectives.”
