Teshie Aboma Presby Church was filled with excitement and anticipation as the Presbyterian Church of Ghana Ga Presbytery Ecumenical and Social Relation, in collaboration with mission and evangelism, hosted the 3rd edition of YESU HƆMƆWƆ NUNTSƆ KPALAMƆ AKANSHI. This highly anticipated event showcased the rich cultural heritage and talent of various Kpaashimɔ groups.
The competition was fierce, with eight Kpaashimɔ flags vying for the top spot. The participating groups included Kɔɔle Wɔko, Mind You, Ananse, Greece, Ghana, Tafo Yɛfeo, Six, and Jah Labour. Each group brought their unique style and creativity to the stage, captivating the audience with their performances.
After a thrilling display of talent and skill, it was Mind You (Sankofa) who emerged as the champions of the 3rd edition. Their exceptional performance left the judges and spectators in awe, showcasing their dedication and hard work. Mind You’s victory was well-deserved, and they were praised for their outstanding choreography, synchronization, and overall stage presence.
Coming in second place was Jah Labour, who also delivered a remarkable performance that impressed the judges. Tafo Yɛfeo secured the third position with their energetic and captivating routine. Ananse, Greece, and Ghana claimed the 4th, 5th, and 6th positions, respectively, while Six and Kɔɔle Wɔko took the 7th and 8th spots.
The event was a celebration of Ghanaian culture and tradition, showcasing the beauty and diversity of Kpaashimɔ. It provided a platform for these talented groups to showcase their skills and promote unity within the community.
