Medical Director for the Trauma and Specialist Hospital, Winneba has been relieved of his position.
This is to help pave the way for an investigation to be conducted into an aged woman who is said to have been driven in an ambulance to Gomoa Ojobi and abandoned in the bush because she was being a nuisance and had no relative come in when she was admitted.
According to the Ghana Health Service, the decision to relieve him of his position is to grant the investigative committee unfettered access to all relevant information.
