According to reports, Youssouf Fofana, a midfield player for Monaco, is a target for Manchester United.

Given Casemiro’s decline in play this season, there have been rumblings about his future at Old Trafford, and Fofana may be the Brazilian’s replacement.

There have been rumors that Manchester United is interested in Youssouf Fofana.

Due to Casemiro’s ongoing struggles this season, the Red Devils are interested in midfielders.

The 31-year-old has struggled to make an impression on Erik ten Hag thus far this season, so Man Utd hasn’t got the same Casemiro as they enjoyed last year.

Additionally, Fabrizio Romano revealed on Caught Offside that the club will talk about his future there in the upcoming months.

The Red Devils are considering Fofana as a center-of-midfield alternative, the transfer guru also disclosed.

He is rumored to have been the backup plan for the Manchester giants this summer before they signed their top target, Sofyan Amrabat.

Fofana has been a key member of Monaco’s squad for the past two seasons, and his efforts last year allowed him to make his debut for the French national team.

He has already racked up three assists in Ligue 1 this season, surpassing his total for the entire 22/23 campaign.

Furthermore, the possible move to Manchester United may provide some insight into the Premier League team’s future intentions with regard to its sports director.
