According to sources, LIVERPOOL is preparing a trade move for highly-rated Chelsea player Levi Colwill.
During his season-long loan stint in the Championship with Huddersfield Town in the 2021–22 season, the 20-year-old center-half initially drew attention.

In order to gain Premier League experience, he was sent to Brighton the next season after assisting them in making it to the play-off final.
Colwill seized the chance, becoming as a pivotal figure in the Seagulls’ historic first-ever European football qualification.
His outstanding performances for England Under-21s, who won the European Championship in the summer, further cemented his reputation.
This sparked intense interest from other teams, including Brighton and Liverpool, who were both eager to keep him on the South Coast.
But Colwill was one of the players who new Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino intended to center his team on when he took over.
After signing a new six-year deal with a one-year extension option, he stayed at Stamford Bridge and established himself as a fixture in West London.
Unfortunately, Colwill has spent most of his time playing outside of his position at left defense because of several injury setbacks suffered by the Chelsea team.
Furthermore, there is growing conjecture that he may be on his way, despite the fact that the ink on his most recent deal is hardly dry.
Liverpool reportedly “retain an interest” in the now-senior England international, according to talkSPORT.
“Chelsea could also be vulnerable to offers for fellow academy graduate Colwill, given their willingness to sell Tottenham target Conor Gallagher in order to comply with Premier League Profitability and Sustainability rules,” the article reads.
Funds collected by the sale of domestic players are considered 100% profit, which helps maintain financial balance and increases Pochettino’s transfer budget for new players.
According to this recent article, Colwill was willing to leave the Blues, but he stayed after being “persuaded by Pochettino he would be a first-team regular.”
As Jurgen Klopp searches for reinforcements, Liverpool has been connected to multiple defenders, including one known as “the new Raphael Varane.”
renowned center-back The Reds are looking for Virgil van Dijk’s long-term backup at the defense as the Dutchman turns 33 in July.
