Reports from Manhyia South indicate the Manhyia South Constituency is pushing for Lawyer Nana Agyei Bafour Awuah to replace Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh as the Parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party.
The New Patriotic Party is set to announce Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh as the running mate of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
The two will be on the governing political party’s ticket for the 2024 election.
Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh is expected to remain Member of Parliament for the Manhyia South Constituency until December 7 when the country will go to the polls.
However, reports from the Manhyia South Constituency indicate that the New Patriotic Party may not organize any form of elections but will choose Lawyer Nana Agyei Bafour Awuah to replace the man popularly known as NAPO.
He is said to be the Lawyer of Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh and is a Lawyer of International Repute. He has been at the BAR for fifteen years and has served the New Patriotic Party in various capacities.
