The Vice-Chancellor of KNUST, Professor (Mrs.) Rita Akosua Dickson, reiterated the University’s dedication during the 10th KNUST Summer School. The theme of the summer school was “Academia-Industry Partnership for National Development”.
In her address, Professor (Mrs.) Dickson emphasized the need to align educational institutions, research, and industry expectations. Collaborating between academia and industry could lead to improving learning outcomes and foster economic development. She expressed confidence that the discussions’ various themes during the summer school would inspire the University’s Colleges and Units to better prepare graduates, bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical skills, and cultivate stronger relationships with industry.
KNUST remains continually dedicated to providing an innovative learning environment that nurtures and develops students into well-rounded professionals ready to excel in their chosen fields.
