THE Premier League’s January transfer window really gives them the financial leverage to spend large sums on new players thanks to sponsorship and TV deals.

This is probably going to be the same when the winter transfer window begins the following month.

Clubs will be on a frenzied search to find exceptionally gifted gems that could be the next Mbappe Kylian

Even though it can be challenging to conduct business in January, the Premier League’s more astute teams will seek to make long-term investments.

Several celebrities have gained notoriety this season after the summer.

These players range from those who toil away in their leagues to command enormous price tags to those who operate in the shadow of the greats.

Additionally, we have listed six of the newest European wonderkids that could join the Premier League in January.

1. Lille’s 18-year-old center-back Leny Yoro

This season, Leny Yoro has performed well for Lille.

Players that are usually slow to age and develop into top-tier performers are central defenders.

Playing central defense against strikers who use a range of “dark arts” to gain an edge makes the position so tough that it takes time to become proficient.

However, occasionally a young central defender who is already a quality player will emerge; currently, these players are mostly appearing in the French top league.

Leny Yoro, an 18-year-old central defender for Lille, is the most recent kid to come to our attention who we think is already qualified to play for a premier league team.

Yoro’s actions have enabled Lille to move up to fifth place in Ligue 1 this year.

Here, Yoro is smart enough to see the attacker’s movements ahead of time and avoid the threat.

Yoro has an excellent frame for a young central defender at 6’3″. He can defend tight both centrally and out wide, and he is at ease stopping speed or power.

In addition to having a very contemporary profile, the young French defender can also play out and punch the ball past defensive lines since he is confident and competent with the ball at his feet.

This young defender is quick to defend space, turn, and defend back towards his own goal. He also has a good range to his play in terms of passing and playing diagonals.

In our opinion, Yoro is already a top-tier defender, and a side like Chelsea would be a great fit for his type of player.

2. Matias Soule, a 20-year-old Frosinone right-wing on a loan from Juventus.

Despite being on loan, Matias Soule may be Juventus’ finest attacker this year.

Even if Juventus is now second in Serie A, one might legitimately argue that their best attacker is now on loan at Frosinone, a failing team.

Twenty-year-old Argentine Matias Soule plays primarily on the right wing and possesses a playmaking flair similar to that of Dutch great Arjen Robben.

Since he is left-footed by nature, he matches the contemporary description of right-wingers who prefer to cut inside and use their dominant left foot to attack goals.

As of this writing, Soule has appeared in 14 Serie A games for the team, which is presently ranked 13th, with six goals and one assist.

While on loan at Frosinone, Soule has made an impression.

Here, he seizes control before completing the task using power from outside the region.

Even though Soule hasn’t made his complete debut, he has already been called up by the senior Argentine national team, and it seems like a matter of time until he starts playing regularly for his nation.

If recalled, he would already be a member of Juventus’ first squad, but there’s no assurance his approach would mesh well with the team’s defensive philosophy and pragmatic approach.

Alternatively, when the January transfer market opens, Juventus might decide to bring Soule back from loan before selling him and trying to turn a profit.

Brighton in particular would love his profile, but Manchester United urgently needs reinforcements on the right wing.

3. 19-year-old Bilal El Khannouss, Genk, attacking midfield

Bilal El Khannouss participated in the World Cup

We then travel to the Belgian top division, where 19-year-old Moroccan international Bilal El Khannouss, a product of Genk’s junior academy, is another treasure.

The youthful attacker-minded player can play from the wide gaps or inside as a 10 between the attack and midfield.

He is a dynamic midfielder who can carry the ball through opponents’ central defenders and open up deep and compact defensive blocks with his inventive passing.

Because of his adaptability, El Khannouss would be a great asset.

Here, El Khannouss observes how he waits for action to pick up before attempting to play the ball through the opposition.

El Khannouss started out at the Anderlecht junior academy, but as a young player he transferred to the Genk academy before breaking through to the first squad.

When they do eventually allow him to depart, Genk should be able to command a high price for the young player because of his versatility in attacking areas and his technical proficiency with the ball.

We think Unai Emery ought to consider the Moroccan international as a way to bolster this Aston Villa team’s depth and caliber.

4. Bayern Munich’s 18-year-old striker Mathys Tel

Mathys Tel is Bayern Munich’s backup for Harry Kane.

Mathys Tel, who left Rennes for a £20 million fee, is already playing for one of the biggest teams in the world at the age of just 18.

Having said that, though, there’s a chance the young French striker will be looking to leave Germany and Bayern Munich after the German powerhouse spent a huge amount of money this summer to sign England international captain Harry Kane from Spurs.

Although Tel is more often deployed from the left than the center, it is a testament to his skill and effectiveness in front of goal that he is still getting some minutes this season despite the kind of players Bayern has in front of him.

Tel possesses all the necessary attributes to be a center forward, including strength, speed, and a strong technical foundation.

When given the opportunity, Tel has performed well this season.

Here, Tel maintains composure before adjusting his shooting angle and finishing expertly into the bottom corner.

Tel possesses the skills to be the next big striker in European football, but he also has a deep knowledge of the sport.

He can separate himself from opposing defenders in the latter third thanks to his excellent mobility, positioning, and anticipation.

Tel would probably only consider clubs in the Champions League if he were to leave Bayern Munich in January, and he would probably only do so for a substantial transfer fee.

As a result, we think Arsenal would make a suitable home.

5. Johan Bakayoko, PSV’s 20-year-old right wing

Johan Bakayoko may suit Man Utd perfectly.

Next up is a player who came dangerously close to joining the Premier League during the summer, with Burnley and Brentford being mentioned as potential destinations for 20-year-old Belgian winger Johan Bakayoko.

The young player ultimately made the decision to remain at PSV in the Netherlands, and by doing so, he has probably raised his value and received invaluable Champions League experience.

In terms of profile, Bakayoko mimics Soule since he likes to play from the right wing, where he can enter the game and pose a threat with his left foot.

Although he is a quick and agile wide player, he has a propensity to drop his shoulder and attack the hoop in an attempt to create particularly good shooting opportunities.

In the Champions League, he made an impression against teams like Arsenal.

Bakayoko receives the ball wide to the right in this instance, cuts inside, and shoots into the upper corner.

That being said, Bakayoko can also be a very dangerous ball carrier who can attack opponents’ defenders one-on-one after receiving the ball.

One player who poses a threat when he enters the game and shoots is Bakayoko.

He can attack and move quickly enough to find a ball, and he can provide up opportunities for teammates by crossing the penalty area with low-driven crosses.

It’s safe to conclude that Burnley and most likely Brentford are no longer in the running for Bakayoko, even though teams like Aston Villa, Newcastle, and Manchester United would all make sense right now.

6. Feyenoord’s 22-year-old striker Santiago Gimenez

Santiago Gimenez might be able to help several clubs with their goal-scoring issues.

As of this writing, Santiago Gimenez has scored two goals in four Champions League games and eighteen goals in just 16 Eredivisie games this season.

The 22-year-old forward for the Mexican national team has clearly outgrown Feyenoord, and because of his incredible season-opening performance, he has already been linked to a £90 million move to either Arsenal or Chelsea.

Furthermore, there’s a strong likelihood that he’ll be open to moving on and visiting England in January.

Gimenez is a youthful forward who can finish from a number of different spots.

In recent months, Gimenez has been projected as a £90 million player.

Here, Gimenez’s superb movement is demonstrated as he drifts to the back post.

When the ball is in wide or deeper positions, his movement and anticipation help him to create separation from opposing defenders, giving him space to finish. He can score with either foot or his head.

Gimenez may operate as a lone striker or as one of two, generating space for teammates to play in with his movement, which usually comes off the shoulder of the final defender.

Although he can sprint behind the ball and attack space, he also possesses the technical ability to receive the ball, link plays with his back to the goal, and show off his skills.

As of this writing, many teams would benefit from signing a player with his goalscoring history, but the most practical additions would seem to be to Brentford, Newcastle, and Aston Villa.

In summary
Premier League clubs will likely make large investments in January of next year, and we don’t doubt that they will be looking to acquire wonderkids from all over the world.

We believe that all six of the players we have chosen are true assets with high caliber, and we anticipate seeing them linked to moves.
