Black Stars defender, Joseph Aidoo, put up an outstanding performance to help Celta Vigo secure a crucial victory over Elche in the Spanish La Liga on Wednesday. Aidoo’s heroics earned him the Man of the Match award, having scored the only goal of the game.

Aidoo also played a crucial role in defense, leading the backline that prevented Elche from creating meaningful chances.
With the win, Celta Vigo ends their four-game winless run, having drawn two and lost two in their previous games. They are now placed 12th in the La Liga standings, with 39 points after 31 games.
Aidoo’s goal was his third in 30 La Liga matches for Celta Vigo, further cementing his position as a key player for the Sky Blues.
