JOSE MOURINHO breaks silence After losing his job as manager of Roma,

It happens after he was seen on Tuesday, battling back tears as he left the Roma training facility.

On Monday, Mourinho appeared stunned as he departed the Roma training facility.

Mourinho thanked Roma supporters on Instagram in a statement, expressing gratitude for his stay in the eternal city.

The club’s manager shared a video compilation of his finest moments, captioning it, “Sweat, blood, tears, joy, sadness, love, brothers, history, heart, eternity.”

In the post’s comments area, Roma supporters showered Mourinho with gratitude for his tenure as the team’s manager.

A supporter said, “Mister [coach] not even when my ex left me I was so hurt 💔.”

Another person replied, “Mister, thank you for waking up a city. We will never forget what you did.” We look forward to reuniting one day ❤️.”

“I’m not crying, I got conference league in my eye 😢,” remarked the third person.

The anguish that Roma supporters have shown is a reflection of Mourinho’s complex connection with Romanisti.

Mourinho still has a positive rapport with Roma supporters despite his team’s dismal league performance, which saw him finish sixth twice in his two full seasons in charge before departing with the team in ninth place.

In his first season in charge, the “Special One” won the first-ever Europa Conference League, and in his second season, he placed second in the Europa League.

In addition, he has won over Roma supporters by portraying 13 academy alumni in all throughout his tenure there.

Despite Mourinho’s success in European competition, the club’s owners have invested £688 million on him and haven’t always seen a return on that investment in the league.

Mourinho’s contract was up at the end of the season, so eye-achingly boring play paired with bad results of late were putting the team in a precarious situation.

The owners of the team will also have gained some goodwill from the supporters by selecting Daniele De Rossi, a Roma legend, to succeed Mourinho.

Perhaps no one else could have calmed the ire of Roma supporters who have grown to love Mourinho.
