ITALIAN champs Napoli are hoping to rescue their season with a weird double transfer swoop for Premier League flops Orel Mangala and Hamed Traore.

The Serie A champions easily won the championship in the previous season, finishing with 28 wins, 4 losses, and 90 points.

Napoli is attempting to make an unexpected trade for Nottingham Forest’s midfield player. Mangala  Orel

The Serie A leaders also desire Hamed Traore of Bournemouth.

However, since manager Luciano Spalletti left to pursue a position with the Italy national team, they are in disarray this season.

After 20 games, Napoli has already suffered seven losses, trailing leaders Inter Milan by 17 points.

And after Walter Mazzarri took over for Rudi Garcia throughout the campaign, they have moved on to their second manager of the year.

Napoli’s, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has promised to bolster the team this month by adding new players.

However, with two Premier League busts reportedly in position to transfer to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, supporters may be left disappointed.

According to Sky Germany, Napoli has placed a bid for Mangala, a midfielder for Nottingham Forest.

The Mail also reports that they are in negotiations with Bournemouth for playmaker Traore.

Mangala, 25, joined Forest for £21.5 million after leaving Stuttgart for his second season.

In 49 games, the Belgium international has scored two goals.

In addition, Napoli wants to land a loan agreement so they may buy before Juventus, its rivals, do.

About Traore, he wishes to go back to his native Italy. After leaving Sassuolo a year ago, he has only made 13 appearances.

If the Ivorian makes an impression, Napoli is prepared to pay £22 million for him this summer and hopes to sign him on loan as well.

Important player Elijf Elmas, who was signed by RB Leipzig for £25 million last week, has already left Mazzarri’s squad.

This season, star scorer Victor Osimhen has battled injuries and is presently participating in the African Cup of Nations.

And in order to revitalize their season, supporters will be hopeful that Mangala and Traore can overcome their Premier League problems.
