The secretary general for TUC Dr Anthony Yaw Baah in a speech told the president of Ghana Nana Akuffo Addo that, it is better to turn the National Cathedral project into a National hospital.
He said this at the 2023 National May Day parade at Jubilee park Bolgatanga where the president himself was present at the event.
In addition to his speech he elaborated that, the government can lead us out of the crisis we are in and it can do so by cutting expenditure on non-essentials including the need to stop spending our hard earn revenue on the National Cathedral.
He continued that, they disagree with the president and he should reduce the size of his government.
