Asante Kotoko’s interim coach Abdul Gazale has expressed concern over his team’s chances of winning the league title if their attitudes do not improve in the remaining matches of the season. This comes after the Porcupine Warriors suffered a 2-0 defeat to Great Olympics on Thursday afternoon at the Sogakope Park.
Despite the possibility of moving higher up the table after Hearts of Oak’s loss on Wednesday, Kotoko failed to capitalize on the opportunity, losing to Great Olympics due to two first-half goals from Michael Osei and Emmanuel Akesseh.
After the game, Gazale expressed his disappointment with the team’s attitude, especially in away matches. He warned that Kotoko cannot continue in this manner and expect to be league champions.
Kotoko currently sits in sixth place on the league table, eight points behind leaders Aduana Stars
