Last month, sources claim that Chelsea rejected Bayer Munich’s last-minute attempt to sign Mykhailo Mudryk.

In January 2023, the 23-year-old Ukrainian left Shakhtar Donetsk to sign a £97 million contract with the Blues.

Mykhailo Mudryk has had difficulty leaving a lasting impression at Chelsea.

But since then, he has had difficulty making an impression at Stamford Bridge.

Under Mauricio Pochettino, Mudryk has made 19 Premier League appearances this season, contributing three goals and three assists.

But he hasn’t started any of the Blues’ last five Premier League games, and he has fallen out of favor in recent weeks.

The Athletic claims that last month, Bayern Munich explored making a move for Mudryk.

After being hit by Kingsley Coman’s injury, the German giants needed reinforcements on the wing.

According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Bayern contacted Chelsea to find out when Mudryk was available.

He went on to say that Chelsea instantly said “no” to Thomas Tuchel’s team.

and that Mudryk is “happy” with the Blues.

In the end, Bayern chose to push forward Bryan Zaragoza’s transfer from Granada.

They reached an agreement in December to sign the Spanish international at the end of the current campaign for approximately £12.8 million.

They decided to pay an additional £3.4 million to expedite the transaction after Coman sustained an injury.
