The Member of Parliament for North Tongu has told former Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddy Blay that he is not afraid of the court because he is armed with the truth.
Freddy Blay has given Samuel Okudzeti Ablakwa and TV3 an ultimatum of a week to retract and apologize to him for claiming he and his family are involved in state capture.
He insists that his children acquired the property legitimately and therefore the North Tongu Member of Parliament is engaged in cheap propaganda.
“My children have legitimately acquired certain portions of the beach front from the LA Council and where they are operating doesn’t belong to the management of Labadi Beach hotel,” adding that the North Tongu MP is engaging in “cheap propaganda and to court public opprobrium against my sons.”
But speaking at a press conference, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa reiterated his calls on the GNPC Board Chairman to go to court.
Ablakwa believes that the 1-week ultimatum is unnecessary indicating that he is armed with the truth and therefore does not fear the court or any judge.
“The truth as the bible say will set you free. If you are armed with the truth you fear no judge, you fear no court. So the Hon. Freddy Blay should stop issuing threats. What we are asking for is to leave the beach front. So these treats he shouldn’t wait for one week, we are ready to meet him in court today,” he said.
