Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, the former fetish priestess-turned-evangelist known as Nana Agradaa, has expressed no regrets about her time in prison, calling it a spiritually enriching experience that brought her closer to God.

Speaking to a church congregation on Sunday, March 22, shortly after her release from Nsawam Prison, Nana Agradaa shared that her time in custody deeply impacted her faith and strengthened her relationship with God.

“I was sent to prison, but today I praise God and say I will never regret it. What God has given me through this journey is priceless, and no amount of money could buy it,” she said.

She went on to explain that the experience had empowered her to spread God’s word. “God has given me the authority and power to minister to the world, declaring that He is the King of kings, and there is no other God but Him. His Kingdom will reign forever, and no one can stop us from worshipping Him,” she added.

Nana Agradaa encouraged the public to honor the works of God, emphasizing the transformative power of faith.

Originally sentenced to 15 years in prison on July 3, 2025, for defrauding by false pretence and engaging in charlatanic advertisement, Nana Agradaa’s legal team appealed the ruling. The Amasaman High Court later reduced her sentence to 12 months, describing the initial punishment as excessive.

Her release was made possible under Ghana’s remission rules, following her completion of two-thirds of the revised sentence.
