The MP for Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency and the Majority chief whip of the 8th Parliament Hon Frank Annoh Dompreh distribute reading materials to Prince Boateng Memorial school in Nsawam under his Educational Literacy Project.
According to him, this project is to improve reading, writing and speaking skills of the students in his constituency.
The headteacher of the school Mr Ennin Baffour Prince outline some of the problems the school is battling with which needs urgent solution. Some of the problems were; construction of the new Girls Dormitory, inadequate computers to facilitate technology Education in the school, refurbishment of the playing ground to develop talents, inadequate TVET equipment such as sewing machines etc.
Hon Frank Annoh Dompreh expressed his excitement and gratitude to the school and assured them that the school will rise again.
He promised to give the school an amount of Gh¢20,000.00 from MP common fund and Gh¢10,000.00 as his personal donation to start the construction of the Girls Dormitory. In addition, he gave the school three dryers and four streetlights.
The school presented a citation to honor the Member of Parliament for his contribution to the development of education in the constituency.
