Ho Municipal Assembly, Ghana – In a bid to rectify decreasing revenue concerns, the Ho Municipal Assembly has passed a resolution to put an end to the Ghana Revenue Authority’s collection of property rates. The decision was made during a meeting held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, after thorough examination of the available records.

According to the records assessed by the Assembly, a visible decline in revenue fortunes ensued since the Ghana Revenue Authority took over the responsibility of collecting property rates. As an attempt to reverse this trend, the Assembly undertook extensive discussions which eventually led to the resolution being passed.
