As she watched Ivory Coast secure Africa Cup of Nations victory alongside the legend, DIDIER DROGBA’s girlfriend stole the show.
Tonight, on home grounds, the nation of the legendary Chelsea player faced the Super Eagles.
The 45-year-old Drogba made sure it was an exhilarating evening by watching his nation, who he scored 65 goals for, come back from behind to defeat Nigeria 2-1.
And as any forward will tell you, having a solid partner on your side never hurts.
Throughout the game, the TV cameras captured multiple shots of Drogba with the stunning Gabrielle Lemaire in the stands.
Then, she posted a selfie that she had taken inside the Alassane Ouattara-Ebimpe stadium.
Drogba did, however, leave her side as he dashed off in excitement after Franck Kessie equalized in the 62nd minute, even though they were behind 1-0 at the half.
And when Sebastien Haller gave them the lead with nine minutes remaining, it surely became even wilder.
We have already seen the celebrity with his long-term partner on multiple occasions.
When he and Gabrielle went to a Formula E race in Saudi Arabia at the beginning of 2022, they made their public debuts.
And ever since, he has shared images of them having fun on social media on a regular basis.
Following his announcement in January 2021 that he was divorcing his now-ex-wife Lalla Diakite after ten years of marriage, Drogba and Diakite began dating.
The couple got married in 2011 after meeting in the late 1990s.
At the time, Drogba posted a message on Instagram explaining why their marriage had ended, saying, “I’m not in the habit of discussing my private life.”
However, in response to rumors in the media today, I can officially state that, regrettably, Lalla and I decided to call it quits last year after 20 years of marriage.
