Former President John Mahama, alongside prominent members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), gathered together today to pay their last respects to the late Veronica Ama Ampoma Dumelo, mother of actor, farmer, and NDC parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo.
In a display of solidarity and support, Former President John Mahama was accompanied by NDC’s former Director of Elections, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, former Deputy Chief of Staff, Valerie Sawyer, and his son, Sharaf, among other party stalwarts. Their presence at the funeral service was a testament to the strong bond shared between the party members and John Dumelo.
The ceremony also saw the attendance of renowned Ghanaian business mogul, Ibrahim Mahama, who joined in mourning with John Dumelo and the NDC Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary candidate.
Veronica Ama Ampoma Dumelo, affectionately known as Madam Veronica, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the age of 71. Her loss is deeply felt by her family, friends, and the entire NDC community. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
