According to reports, NEMANJA MATIC will sign with relegation-threatened Lyon.
The former star of Manchester United only signed with rival team Rennes in Ligue 1 last summer.

Matic, 35, relocated from Roma to the French side but found it difficult to adjust and experienced problems with his kids’ education.
He has maintained that he was attending to a personal business and denies going on strike at the club.
There were even rumors that he was thinking of giving up football completely.
However, with Lyon predicted to win the race, Matic is now expected to leave the team permanently.
Although Fulham had been linked to a move of their own, it now looks that Matic will remain in France.
Furthermore, according to Fabrizio Romano, the midfield player will sign a contract with Lyon that runs through June 2026.
He implied that terms for the Serbian had been agreed upon by Lyon and Rennes.
Matic is reportedly only waiting on “documents and signature” after agreeing to the 18-month agreement with the relocation.
Matic has made appearances for Rennes in 13 Ligue 1 games this season, but he has not scored.
Before joining Manchester United in 2017, Matic was a Chelsea player in England where he won two Premier League titles and one FA Cup.
He didn’t take home a trophy with the Red Devils, although he did place second in the FA Cup and Europa League.
Lyon, who are in desperate need of a boost following a terrible start to the Ligue 1 season that has left them 16th in the standings, might benefit much from his experience.
The club has been connected to a potential transfer to re-sign Karim Benzema from Al-Ittihad, a Saudi team.
