TEXT: John 9:1-7 (Open Your Bible and Read)

MEMORY VERSE: “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” – Mark 11:24 (NIV).

In John 9:1-7, we read about a man who was born blind. Jesus saw him and healed him, causing him to see for the first time in his life. This was a miraculous event that changed the man’s life forever. But before the healing could happen, the man had to expect and anticipate his miracle.

In the same way, we must expect and anticipate our own miracles. We serve a God who is able to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20), and He delights in blessing His children. But often, we don’t receive our miracles because we don’t expect them.

What are you praying for today? Are you expecting God to answer your prayers and provide your miracle? Don’t let doubt and fear hold you back. Instead, believe that God is able and willing to do what you’re asking Him to do. Trust that He has a good plan for your life, and that He wants to bless you.

When we expect our miracles, we position ourselves to receive them. We open our hearts and minds to the ways in which God might work, and we prepare ourselves to receive His blessings. So today, let’s expect our miracles, and trust that God will come through for us in His perfect timing.

PRAYER:

Dear God, I thank you that you are a God of miracles. I pray that you would help me to expect and anticipate the miracles that you have for me. Help me to trust in your goodness and your faithfulness, and to believe that you are able to do immeasurably more than all I can ask or imagine. I give you my hopes and dreams, and I ask that you would work in my life in ways that only you can. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
