Ghana’s Head Coach, Otto Addo, has emphasized the importance of staying focused as the Black Stars prepare for their upcoming friendly against Austria. Addo cautioned that no opponent should be underestimated in modern football, highlighting that the unpredictability of the game makes every team a potential threat.
“In modern football, honestly, everyone can beat everyone,” Addo remarked. “We saw it at the last FIFA World Cup—no team can be taken lightly.”
While acknowledging the prestige of teams like Germany, whom Ghana will face next Monday, Addo made it clear that his current focus is entirely on Austria. “Germany is a high-profile team, but right now, I’m not thinking about them,” he said. “Our full attention is on Austria.”
