It has been reported that ERIC DIER has agreed to a spectacular move to Bayern Munich.

The England midfielder and defender has slipped further down the Tottenham hierarchy since manager Ange Postecoglou took over.

Eric Dier’s position within the Tottenham hierarchy has decreased since the appointment of Ange Postecoglou as manager.

When it became apparent that Dier, 29, was not included in the Australian’s plans, he started to consider his options.

Additionally, it is said that the adaptable star has agreed to sign with German powerhouse Bayern.

After preliminary discussions, The Times reports that the England international has “reached an agreement in principle” with the Bavarians.

Dier’s Spurs contract expires at the end of the current campaign, therefore he is free to chat with the big teams in the Bundesliga.

The adaptable Dier is one of four possible choices that Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel has targeted to strengthen his defense. Dier was formerly an outstanding player for Sporting Lisbon.

Additionally, Bayern is rumored to think they have the “green light” to carry forward with their pursuit of the out-of-favor Spurs player.

Despite Dier appearing to be surplus to needs, it is unknown if Spurs will be willing to let him go.

But Postecoglou has already made hints that he may not play for Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the future.

Eric Dier will reconnect with Harry Kane upon moving to Bayern Munich.

That clue appeared last October when he declined to say whether or not he was a part of his plans.

The former Celtic executive stated: “I haven’t spoken with Eric recently. In addition to training, he is making himself available.

“I’m more than happy to talk about their futures with all of these guys if they feel the need to.”

“But until I notice a problem, I won’t go out and look for it.”

In the event that Spurs approve Dier’s sale to Bayern, the ace will rejoin Harry Kane, his longtime teammate from their last club.

In a sensational £82 million transfer, Kane moved from North London to Munich in August of last year.

Kane, the England captain, has been quite productive since joining the German champions.

In just 22 games for Tuchel’s team, the 30-year-old has scored an incredible 25 goals, shattering the Bundesliga record for the fewest games with 20 goals scored.
