EDUCATION: A LADDER TO SUCCESS — SWEET HOME ACADEMY GRADUATES CHARGED TO SOAR BEYOND LIMITS
Sweet Home Academy, under the theme “Soaring Beyond Limits – Embracing the Future with Courage and Purpose”, held its 2025 Graduation Ceremony on August 9 at the school premises. The event celebrated not just academic achievements but the values, discipline, and vision required to shape future leaders.
Delivering the keynote address, guest speaker Mr. Fredrick Kitson Attabra unpacked the theme:
“Soaring Beyond Limits” — rising above challenges and pushing beyond boundaries.
“Embracing the Future” — meeting what lies ahead with hope and readiness.
“With Courage and Purpose” — facing life boldly, guided by meaningful intent.
To the Pupils – The Torchbearers of Tomorrow, he urged them to dream big, work hard, and never give up.
“Whether maths feels hard or English is confusing, keep trying, keep asking, and learn from mistakes,” he advised. He reminded them that their actions today—studying diligently, helping others, and persevering—are the seeds of tomorrow’s success.
To the Parents – Partners in Shaping the Future, he stressed that their role is irreplaceable. Encouragement, values, and emotional support from home are as vital as academic instruction. When home and school work together, he said, children not only become good students but also good people.
Highlighting Courage as the engine of purpose and Purpose as the compass of life, Mr. Attabra encouraged everyone present to prepare for the future with confidence, character, and creativity.
School Director Hon. Shedrach Boakye Yiadom, who also serves as Assembly Member for American Town Electoral Area, expressed gratitude to parents for their unwavering support despite challenges like fee payment delays. He urged continued cooperation to create a nurturing environment for pupils and teachers, reminding graduates to carry the school’s mission forward—empowering and educating with a balance of academic, physical, social, and emotional growth.
The ceremony concluded with a collective pledge: to push boundaries, face challenges with courage, and pursue every endeavor with purpose.
