Dormaa Central MCE cut sod for phase II of the Secondary Cities Support Program to expand Dormaa Tuesday Market

The Dormaa Central Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Drissa Ouattara on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, cut sod for the expansion project of the Dormaa Tuesday Market being the Phase II of the project which was initiated with the support of the Secondary Cities Support Program in recent times.

During the Sod Cutting Ceremony, the MCE expressed that the project is purposely for the expansion and development of the Tuesday Market but the assembly will ensure judicious use of the available funds to ensure another area of development including the provision of street lights and construction of some access roads in the Dormaa Township.

On Her Part, Hon. Justina Owusu Banahene, Bono Regional Minister who was present at the event urged the residents of Dormaa to desist from stealing the building materials meant for the construction stressing that the artisans must ensure the correct usage of the available materials to enhance quality and long-lasting of the project.

She also called for peaceful elections to enhance peaceful elections in the upcoming general election and urged Ghanaians to vote for the NPP to continue their good Governance for the Dormaa and the country at Large.

Finally, Barimah Oppong Kyeremeh Buabasa, Dormaa Gyasehene who represented the Dormaa Manhene expressed appreciation to the MCE and the NPP government for their continuous support for Dormaa Ahenkro and its surrounding communities.
