The Member of Parliament for Dormaa East constituency of the Bono region, Hon Paul Apraku Twum Barima has admonished Ghanaians to stay disciplined and remain patriotic to aid the rapid development of the Country.
Speaking with Newsmen on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Asuotiano, a suburb of the Dormaa East District during a Free Health Screening and football games he organized for his constituents in partnership with Actor Cum football administrator, Samuel Yaw Dabo, the Member of Parliament seized the opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of our forefathers as part of the founders Day celebration denoting that it is important for leaders to set befitting legacies for generations to remember their efforts at any given time hence his efforts to ensure he leaves a legacy that will be commended by all people who may come across his name in the future.
He therefore appealed to Ghanaians to stay disciplined, committed and patriotic to the course of the country’s progress emphasizing that it doesn’t matter your position or one doesn’t need to make a higher realm of politics to make a mark but must use the little opportunity to put smiles on the faces of other people they come across.
Hon. Paul Apraku Twum Barima explained the Motive behind the consistent health Screening and football games being organized for his constituents indicating that health is Paramount in the development of every community hence the decision to consistently embark on free Health screening for his people to detect their ailments and how to maintain a healthy life.
He said the football games will also pave the way for talented young footballers to gain access to professional football teams for a better career a reason why Samuel Yaw Dabo was partnered for scouting stressing that he is working tirelessly to ensure the completion of their AstroTurf pitch for effective football experience and subsequent scouting.
On his part, Mr Samuel Yaw Dabo, Chief Executive Officer of Dabo Soccer Academy, added that his outfit is in negotiations with the Dormaa East MP to form one football team in his constituency to play against Dabo Soccer Academy in a subsequent football game for efficient scouting.
He indicated that they have scouted some young talents and will move them to Kumasi to continue their career with the MP’s promise to support them when the need arises.
