Reports indicate that FRANK LAMPARD is expected to make a comeback to football management.
Since the conclusion of his term as the Blues’ temporary manager at the end of the previous campaign, the Chelsea great has not been employed as a coach.

However, after being listed as one of the candidates in Charlotte FC’s interview process, Lampard is getting closer to taking the dugout again.
Despite leading them to their first-ever playoff appearance, head coach Christian Lattanzio was fired by the Major League Soccer team, and they are now searching for a new manager.
Before the club’s third season began, Charlotte fell 5-2 to the New York Red Bulls in the play-in game and fired Lattanzio. As a result, they are currently looking for a third full-time manager.
The Athletic reports that Charlotte is almost done with its interview process.
Additionally, Lampard is one of the candidates for the position. He has managed Everton and Derby.
He is not, however, a lock for the part.
Dean Smith, the former manager of Aston Villa, is also included in the final hat.
Last season, Smith served as Leicester’s manager for the last time, although he was unable to keep the team from being demoted to the Championship.
The fact that Lampard has previous MLS experience could work in his favor.
With New York City FC, the 45-year-old concluded his playing career in North America.
A final decision is expected to be made within the next two weeks, according to TopBin90, who broke the story of the Charlotte interviews first.
