According to court documents, prosecutors plan to charge football player Dani Alves with rape and demand that he pay £130,000 to his victim and serve nine years in prison.
Since his arrest in January, the married 40-year-old former defender for Barcelona and Brazil has been detained without access to bond.

She claimed he smacked her face and wouldn’t allow her get out of the stall.
He has expressed his regret for cheating on his wife, model Joana Sanz, in public.
A trial date has not yet been decided.
He asserted in a rare interview conducted from his prison cell that Joana Sanz, his wife, is the only person he needs to beg for forgiveness.
“I have to do it in public, but I have already done it here in prison.
“Because she deserves that public apology, the story is public, and the offense I caused her is public.”
