Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has asked the Police to constantly review and renew the practices of keeping the peace of the country.
Dr Bawumia assured them that the government will continue to resource the Police to enable them continue to play their constitutional role of maintaining law and order for all citizens to go about their businesses without let or hindrance.
He said these while serving as the reviewing officer at the 52nd Cadet Officers’ Graduation Parade of the Ghana Police Service at the Ghana Police Academy, Tesano, Accra.
During the exercise on Wednesday, he charged the men and women of the Ghana Police Service to live above reproach.
He also congratulated all the graduands and asked them to “go and make Ghana proud with your service.”
