Comply With GoldBod Directives- Hon Joanne Gyan Cudjoe To Miners

The unemployment rate is a bit worrisome due to financial constraints and time has come to deal with the canker once and for all.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Accra Fm/Ctv, the member of parliament for the good people of Amenfi Central Constituency, Hon Joana Gyan Cudjoe was optimistic that she is committed to driving job creation and empowering the people of her constituency through seed capital.
According to her, by so doing will help reduce poverty and also create more livelihoods for future generations unborn.
Hon Cudjoe hinted that the Gold plays a vital role in developing Ghana’s economy, and miners should align their efforts with the government’s initiative for the sector to do responsible mining rather than the irresponsible mining which is common in our local dialect called Galamsey.
The government has put more efforts in place to ensure that the menace of galamsey operations will be the thing of the past in our system.
She encouraged miners to comply with GoldBod directives to avoid the risk and destruction on our forest reserves and waterbodies in the country.
According to her, in just few months in office to represent the constituents, she has lobby for the recruitment of 30 community police, 15 fire service, 10 Ambulance service, 28 Prisons service and almost 85 youth has successfully screened to go and work in abroad.
Notwithstanding that the number of youth in Amenfi Central who were enlisted in Ghana Police Service, Military, Immigration, Customs, GES, Nurses and Fire Service personnel’s in just few months in office as MP.
The dynamics of Amenfi Central Constituency of being a poor community is changing gradually and by God’s grace it will.
Hon Cudjoe reaffirmed her commitment to work tirelessly to ensure that the good people of Amenfi Central Constituency never lack.
