Conor Gallagher may join Spurs as a result of Chelsea’s late move for Man City’s Cole Palmer, according to sources.
Before tomorrow’s transfer deadline, the Blues plan to grab highly-regarded Palmer from the Treble champions in a shocking £45 million deal.

The 23-year-old Gallagher has been a valuable player for the new manager Mauricio Pochettino, starting every game.
Even on Wednesday night, he led Chelsea to a Carabao Cup victory over Wimbledon.
The England star will, though, fall further down the Stamford Bridge food chain with Palmer’s arrival.
Gallagher will also be let go since Chelsea still has to recover money from their significant transfer splurge.
This has reportedly inspired Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou to make a last-minute switch for Gallagher because he is in desperate need of midfield skill, according to the Telegraph.
Gallagher won’t be cheap, though, as Chelsea already turned off a £40 million proposal from West Ham last month.
And Postecoglou might need to make a bid of almost £50 million to secure him.
As he continues to strive to fill the enormous gap left by Harry Kane, Brennan Johnson is another one of the Australian’s primary targets.
However, Spurs’ refusal to pay his high £50 million price tag is putting a stop to negotiations with the young Nottingham Forest player.
Additionally, Brighton is expected to beat them to a loan deal for Barcelona striker Ansu Fati.
Ebere Eze of Crystal Palace has also been mentioned, but the Eagles will make an effort to keep the winger.
