President John Dramani Mahama has extended heartfelt Eid ul-Fitr greetings to all Ghanaians on Friday, March 20. In his address to the nation, he emphasized that Ghana remains a beacon of peaceful coexistence.

He urged Ghanaians to continue protecting the peace that defines the country, stating: “Ghana is a shining example of peaceful coexistence. As we celebrate one another’s ceremonies, we stand united as a nation. This harmony is a priceless treasure, and we must safeguard it. Let us reject all that seeks to divide us.”

Mahama also highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure development reaches every region of the country. “While the government is committed to development, it cannot do it alone. We need to work together as a nation,” he added.

On the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, he prayed, “May Allah guide the leaders of the Trump administration and those in the Middle East to bring an end to this war.”
