The Overlord of Tem-Kotokoli, Wuro Dauda Tchedre Brenai II chief of Kue in Nkwanta Municipal in the Oti Region is urging the entire Tem-Kotokoli to disclaim a publication on social media inviting the Tem-Kotokoli citizens to a press conference on 22nd December, 2023 at International Press Center Accra by a self-proclaimed Amankrado of Kue Sakibu Ateku Afora.
According to Wuro Dauda II, he wish to inform the general public and the entire Tem-Kotokoli citizens that he has not appointed anyone as amankrado in his carbinet or council and therefore distance himself from such conference.
In a press released by the Kue Kingdom Public Relation Officer S.A Kerim Edasor-Dale on Thursday 21 December, 2023, states the self-proclaimed amankrado is not a Kue royal and does not reside in Kue nor holds any position or title in Kue stool. Hence, he has no authority or legal right to act on behalf of Kue Kingdom.
Wuro Dauda also wishes to inform the general public and the entire Tem-Kotokoli that they (Kotokoli in Kue) are under the Akyode traditional council and the Akyodes have never claimed their hometown as stated in the so called amankrado’s publications.
He therefore urge everyone including the media houses to disregard such press conference.
He further added that in due course a press conference will be organized to clear the general public mind specifically Tem- Kotokolis about their hometown stool affairs.
