When Chelsea defeated Tottenham, Raheem Sterling seemed to toss a rocket into the crowd. This could result in a ban.
During the celebrations following Cole Palmer’s equalizer, the Blues winger was seen tossing an object towards the spectators in Chelsea’s OWN social media post.

In the video, Palmer’s leg is struck by an object thrown at the players just after he’s converted a spot kick.
However, it also seems to depict Sterling returning the device to its original location—a portion of the crowd occupied by Spurs fans.
According to The Daily Mail, the FA is aware of the occurrence and is looking into it to determine whether any additional steps need to be done.
Even though no violations were observed by officials that day, Sterling may still be punished should it be determined that he infringed any regulations.
Richarlison, a striker for Spurs, was previously suspended for one game when playing for Everton for hurling a lit flare toward the crowd.
The Brazilian was fined £25,000 for his acts, and if the FA finds evidence of any misconduct, Sterling may face the same consequences.
Some players have also been banned in the past for tossing coins into the stands during games, including Jamie Carragher and Didier Drogba.
In the intense London derby, Chelsea defeated a nine-man Spurs squad 4-1 thanks in large part to Sterling’s performance.
Despite two red cards and eight yellow cards in a tense match, the Blues prevailed in the end.
Spurs’ perfect start to the season under Ange Postecoglou came to an end with Mauricio Pochettino’s victory on his return to North London.
